Project Arhcitect
Favorite Quote: ”Even a brick wants to be something” – Louis Kahn
Favorite Project: Every project is unique and exciting, providing an opportunity to problem solve through design.
Something Fun/Interesting About Jeff: I like to do anything that’s outdoors, such as hiking, camping, skiing, lacrosse, and attending maple sugaring open houses. I have section-hiked the entire Long Trail, a 272-mile trail that follows the main ridge of the Green Mountains from the Massachusetts-Vermont line to the Canadian border.
Personal Strengths: Creative, Detailed-oriented, Determined, Self-motivated, Teamwork
JAMAR PARISH
PROJECT COORDINATOR
Favorite Project: A Garzweiler mining project that I worked on in Juchen, Germany is one of my favorite projects. It fueled my passion in architecture. The displaced population of the mines was able to return to their original native area through a five-phase development. With new job opportunities, a self-sustaining agricultural campus, and mixed-use residential and entertainment district, the community will be strengthened and shaped. The project reunified and rebuilt a fragmented region in Germany’s North Rhine-Westphalia.
Something Fun/Interesting About Jamar: I was the high school mascot, Hawk Hogan. A big blue bird with 12-pack abs and yellow leggings.
Personal Strengths: Personable, Observant, Strategic, Goal-Oriented, Teachability
ALLISON MCCOY
Project Coordinator II
Favorite Project: My favorite project is the Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah. During my time on this project, I had the pleasure of aiding in the preliminary design for the 65,000 sf commercial property and four residential villas of 10,000 sf each. Fun fact: the Black Desert Resort sits on a golf course built in volcanic rock and will be the location for the first PGA tour event to be held in Utah in more than 60 years.
Something Fun/Interesting About Allison: I studied abroad in Singapore. While there, I also visited Kuala Lumpur, Maylasia and Bali, Indonesia. I walked across the sky bridge at the Petronas Twin Towers, did a sunrise hike up an active volcano, and saw the Hindu Temples in the Batu Caves.
Personal Strengths: Empathetic, Honest, Resourceful, Adventurous, Intuitive
HEATHER UKSTINS
MARKETING MANAGER
Favorite Project: Every project that creates a light in someone’s eyes when they’re describing it to me – whether they’re an architect, interior designer, or a client. So much thought, inspiration and care goes into every decision and design choice. I’m not an architect, but I live for that creative energy.
Something Fun/Interesting About Heather: I’ve lived in four countries, including the US. London, England as a college student; the tiny town of Breukelen, the Netherlands; and most recently in Strasbourg, France. The list of places I still want visit always keeps growing, but right now I’m happy to be at home in New England.
