DOVER, NEW HAMPSHIRE – The design for this luxury pet supply store sought to create a retail experience for both owners and their pets. The building features a full-service dog spa, complete with wash stations, a swimming pool and a “barkery” for that after swim snack. The building also features an aviary and cat, dog, small mammal, fish and reptile retail departments with a focus on healthy products. A Large refrigerated section provides for ample options of perishable dog and cat foods including a wide selection of organic offerings. In total, this free-standing ground-up building is 15,000 sf and is themed on an outdoor marketplace concept. It was also designed to meet the City of Dover design guidelines for their transitionary district.
