“MSA’s team structure works really well. Adam checks in with the team leaders and PMs regularly. We talk about budgets, big picture strategies, and challenges. He always ends these meetings with: “What do you need from me?” That simple question carries a lot of weight.”

“This is my first job out of college. It’s a great place to work for someone starting their career. I don’t feel like a number or stuck doing one task. If you need help, someone is more than willing to help, and sometimes the whole office chimes in.”

“Interior design and architecture are closely intertwined at MSA. I come from an interiors background. Working here, I’ve learned how to integrate interior design with architecture. Being able to blend the two allows us to create truly cohesive designs.”

“I started at MSA as a summer intern. I planned to go to graduate school, but decided to continue working here instead. It was the right call. I’ve been exposed to a lot of different project types, lead project meetings, and work directly with clients and consultants.”

Team Life
You have a life, so do we.
We’re not missing our kid’s soccer game if we can help it. At MSA, we embrace flexibility, whether that means adjusting schedules when life happens, making time for family, or stepping away to recharge. We work hard and hold ourselves to high standards, but we also know that the best work happens when we all feel supported, valued, and in control of our time.
Also, we spend a lot of time together, so we make it fun. Our office culture is full of celebrations, friendly competitions, and plenty of laughter.
• We volunteer together with local charities.
• The annual cookie decorating competition gets seriously competitive.
• Summer softball team (equal parts skill, spirit, and post-game celebration).
• Lunch & learns
• Halloween costume contests.
• Good vibes and great views on our annual summer cruise.
• Chili cookoff for bragging rights.
• Holiday party to celebrate the end of the year together.
• Music Fridays. Often, there’s a theme.
• Army/Navy game watch party and cornhole tourney.
• Gift cards, prizes, and shoutouts for stellar work.
