Haigh-Farr is a world leader in the design, development and manufacturing of flight body antennas. This 40,000 sq ft facility serves as Haigh-Farr’s corporate headquarters and as a primary testing facility for their aerospace products. These in-house testing capabilities help Haigh-Farr remain a leader in the aerospace industry.

To model how their antennas will perform when mounted on vehicles of all kinds, from helicopters to space craft, Haigh-Farr tests their antenna performance with a variety of simulation, mechanical, and thermal analyses tools.

Complex design for highly technical testing equipment

This facility was designed to support testing equipment including a custom radio frequency testing chamber, thermal anechoic chambers, a thermal vacuum chamber, and a shaker and resonant-beam shock system. This equipment provides simulated vibration, acceleration, and shock conditions, as well as extreme heat and cold simulations, to ensure products can survive the most extreme use environments.

The goal was to create an artistic dining experience with a strong focus on wine culture. The design approach creates changes in depth, defines different volumes of space, and introduces a variety of textures, colors, and materials into the otherwise bland structure.
