A dramatic face-lift for this existing senior living community.

This 30,000 sq. ft. multi-room renovation refreshed and modernized most of this senior living community’s primary amenity spaces.

The project included converting an underutilized meeting room into an indoor/outdoor pub; enlarging the patio and adding a fire pit; converting existing offices into a new meeting space; and converting a storage space into offices. In addition, the project refreshed the theater and library; added a new arts and crafts room; renovated the fitness areas; updated the auditorium; and updated three dining rooms and three floors of corridors.

Challenge: Renovating around residents

This project was especially challenging as it was constructed in multiple phases while residents were living within the building.

Design elements to create a comfortable senior living community

Interior design emphasis was placed on making each room bright and inviting, bringing the outdoors in, and using timeless design elements and materials that will stand the test of time.
