Redevelopment of obsolete public housing into efficient and dense affordable multifamily buildings

Monahan Manor is the redevelopment of the former Bronstein complex. It replaced 48 units of obsolete public housing owned by the Nashua Housing and Redevelopment Authority (NHRA) with 216 units of mixed-income apartments in four new ground-up construction four-story buildings. The unit mix includes studios, one-, two-, three-, four-, and five-bedroom units.

The site is within walking distance of downtown Nashua and Mine Falls Park, which offers more than 300 acres of athletic fields, scenic trails, and lush open space with endless opportunities for outdoor recreation.

Financing included the New Hampshire Housing Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program and State of NH Affordable Housing Fund.
