Theater-inspired design transforms a downtown corner into a restaurant showpiece

When a first-time restaurant owner set out to create something different for downtown Manchester, his vision was inspired by the Palace Theater across the street. The design draws from its theatrical elegance and sense of occasion, setting the tone with rich materials, illuminated millwork, and statement lighting throughout.

Layout That Works

Bravo isn’t just one space. It’s two distinct venues under one roof: a sleek modern café for daytime service and a moody, high-end restaurant with two bar areas for evening dining. We worked closely with the owner, chef, and contractor to plan each layout for operational flow and long-term wear, threading new mechanical systems and kitchens into a tight existing footprint with minimal disruption.

Bar as stage, dining as performance

From custom tilework and softly arched soffits to acoustical ceiling treatments and 11-foot glazing in the sunroom, every square foot was thoughtfully designed for how it feels in the moment, and how it performs over time. The finished spaces invite guests to notice something new with each visit.
