FAVORITE PROJECT:

Wellness Resort in Ponce, Puerto Rico (School Thesis) – This project integrated principles of health, wellness, and hospitality. Research indicates that such hybrid spaces can significantly enhance patient recovery rates compared to traditional hospital settings. I selected a site in Ponce, Puerto Rico, adjacent to a hospital I frequently visited during my childhood. The objective was to design a restorative environment that contrasts with the often clinical and somber atmosphere of conventional healthcare facilities. Emphasizing natural light, open spaces, fresh air, and opportunities for movement, the resort promotes both physical and emotional healing. The final design reflects a holistic approach to wellness, offering a therapeutic setting that supports patient recovery and overall well-being while still being able to offer clinical procedures.

SOMETHING FUN/INTERESTING ABOUT THEM:

I have a deep passion for my faith and the missions’ field, helping and caring for people. Also, I LOVE pickleball!
Belief, Responsibility, Learner, Arranger, Focus
